UK Study Visa Application Process and Requirements  

UK student visa requirements: 

UK Study Visa Application Process is when you apply for your Student visa you must provide a current passport. Or other valid travel documentation a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your course provider. You may also need to provide proof you have enough money to support yourself. And pay for your course – this will vary depending on your circumstances a valid  ATAS certificate. If your course and nationality require it proof of parental or other legal guardian consent. And if you’re under 18 proof of your relationship to your parent or guardian.

If you’re under 18 your tuberculosis test results written consent for your application from your financial sponsor if you’ve received sponsorship for your course fees and living costs in the last 12 months You may need to provide additional documents depending on your circumstances. You need a blank page in your passport for your visa if you need to give your biometric information (fingerprints and a photograph) at a visa application centre. Decision Time

You’ll usually get a decision within 3 weeks. You may be able to pay to get a faster decision- you’ll be told if you can when you apply. You may be able to get a decision: within 5 working days. There has (‘priority service’) by the end of the next working day (‘super priority service’)Priority and super priority services are not currently available for family visa applications. Whether you can get a faster decision depends on what you’re applying for and whether you prove your identity: at a visa application centre using the ‘UK Immigration: ID Check’ appYou’ll find out if you can get a faster decision when you apply for a visa.
UK student visa fee:

You’ll need to pay your visa application fee and an additional fee to get a faster decision.

If you’re using the priority service

The additional fee depends on whether your visa gives you the option to settle permanently in the UK, (also known as ‘indefinite leave to remain’). You’ll need to pay an additional: £573, if your visa gives you the option to settle permanently in the UK£250, if your visa does not give you the option to settle permanently in the UK

If you’re using the super priority service:

You’ll need to pay an additional £956.
